Terms & License

Last updated: May 28, 2026

These End User License Terms govern your use of ArRENCE Browser ("the Software"), published by Webb Diverse Management LLC ("Licensor"). By installing or using the Software you agree to these terms and to the Microsoft Store Standard Application License Terms.

1. License grant

Licensor grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software for your own lawful use, subject to these terms.

2. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. Licensor and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, excluding third-party open-source components, which remain governed by their respective licenses (see Section 7).

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software except to the extent permitted by law; (b) use the Software to violate any law or the rights of others; (c) remove or alter proprietary notices; or (d) use the Software to distribute malware or engage in abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful activity.

4. The AI assistant ("Ren")

The Software includes an optional AI assistant. The assistant only processes web page content that you explicitly choose to share (for example, via "Send page to AI" or a quick action). AI-generated output may be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided for convenience only. Verify important information independently, and do not rely on AI output for legal, medical, financial, or other professional decisions.

5. Privacy

The Software includes content-blocking that filters ads, trackers, and known-malicious domains. Your use of connected services and the websites you visit is subject to their respective privacy policies and terms. Please review our Privacy Statement.

6. Accounts & paid features

Some features may require an account or a paid subscription. Billing, renewal, and cancellation for any subscription are governed by the purchase terms presented at sign-up (for example, through the Microsoft Store).

7. Open-source components

The Software is built on the Chromium open-source project and includes additional third-party open-source software, provided under their own license terms (including, among others, BSD, MIT, and the Mozilla Public License 2.0). A complete list of components and their licenses is available within the application under the "Open-source licenses" (Credits) screen. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under those open-source licenses.

8. Updates

Licensor may provide updates, which may install automatically through the Microsoft Store. These terms apply to updates unless an update is accompanied by separate terms.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

10. Limitation of liability

11. Termination

These terms apply until terminated. They terminate automatically if you breach them. Upon termination, you must stop using and uninstall the Software. Sections 2, 3, and 7–12 survive termination.

12. General

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Licensor's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These terms, together with the Microsoft Store Standard Application License Terms, are the entire agreement regarding the Software.
